Our assessment
The QuietComfort Ultra (2nd Gen) gets the most important things right: it is comfortable enough for long listening sessions, effective at shutting out surrounding noise and capable of delivering an enjoyable sound experience. Bose has resisted radically changing a formula that already worked, instead making targeted improvements such as USB-C lossless listening and smarter adaptive noise cancellation. The result is more refinement than reinvention — and that's probably the right decision. At €379.95, however, these headphones make the most sense for people who regularly travel, commute or work in noisy environments.
